"The Evidence of Things Unseen" by photographer Ayo Banton is a limited-edition book, numbered and printed in small quantities, featuring his new 2025 collection. I approached the design with an organic, tactile feel to reflect its rarity and intimacy—allowing the images to breathe while preserving the raw, unfiltered essence of Ayo’s vision. Here is an idea: to hold this book is to hold a quiet conversation between the seen and the unseen.

Smoke Free Oregon is a statewide campaign that celebrates the people and culture that make Oregon unique — from its urban neighborhoods to rural towns and creative communities.
Each expression of the campaign carries a distinct emotion:
Urban Oregon – Bold, diverse, and energetic. A call to add ending tobacco to the list of shared community traditions.
Rural Oregon – Warm, grounded, and authentic. Focused on pride, connection, and supporting one another.
Artist Oregon – Imaginative and visionary. A creative lens asking, “What does a tobacco-free future look like in your community?”
Across all stories, the message remains human and hopeful:
“You don’t have to quit alone. We’re here to help.”

CAL FIRE AD CAMPAIGN

For the CAL FIRE “Fire Ready” campaign, I focused on creating visuals that would immediately resonate with Californians. I selected a color palette that aligns closely with CAL FIRE’s existing branding, ensuring instant recognition while evoking the natural tones and atmosphere of the state. The client was especially pleased with the photography choice, which captures both the urgency and resilience in wildfire situations. Bold, highly legible typography ensured the message could be understood instantly, even at a glance, reinforcing strong and consistent branding. The result was a compelling, impactful piece that communicated preparedness while staying true to CAL FIRE’s identity.
